Only 909 total points were scored this week, the lowest of the season so far.
Every week 3 loser had enough points on their bench to win their game.
Teams scoring 100 or more points this season are 12-4 (75% win pct.) compared to the all-time win pct. of 84.7%.
Here’s how you would’ve done this week if you started only Buffalo Bills players:
QB: Josh Allen - 36
RB: Zack Moss - 15
RB: Devin Singletary - 2
WR: Emmanuel Sanders - 21
WR: Stefan Diggs - 6
TE: Dawson Knox - 10
F: Cole Beasley - 9
K: Tyler Bass - 13
D/ST: Buffalo - 9
TOTAL: 121 Points
Through the first 3 weeks, 11 out of the 15 games have been decided by 15 points or fewer which is the most in league history.
Schweg has scored the 3rd-most points in the league but somehow finds himself at 0-3. Schweg’s 303 total points are by far the most ever scored by an 0-3 team.
Aaron has now won 5 straight games against Terrance going back to 2017, and has an 11-5 advantage over him.
Chase rolls out the TE flex play but can’t pull in a win. Teams are now 16-18 when starting two TEs (better than I thought).
After jumping out to an 11-3 record against Jake, Jacob has now lost 3 straight to the snake.
Erik starts the Las Vegas Raiders D/ST, which was just the 7th time in league history they have been started. That’s the least started defense out of all teams.
Jarrett gets a win while only scoring 73 points. It’s the lowest winning point total since Week 9 of 2020, and the 30th time a team has won when scoring 73 or fewer points.
Ryan becomes the 2nd team in league history to start 3-0 in consecutive seasons. Sean did it back in 2011-2012. He still has an uphill battle, as only 69% of 3-0 teams end up making the playoffs. Ryan has also passed Jacob to have the highest winning percentage in September. He has now won 8 consecutive September games.
Terrance falls to 0-3 for the first time in his career. Only one 0-3 team has ever made the playoffs, and that was Aaron in 2018 who finished 8-6 and claimed the #3 seed.
We are two weeks in and still no loser’s letter yet. That means an extra $10 has already been added to the championship pot. Will Chase write the letter or just pay the fee and move on?
