Our playoffs teams are officially set. We could still have some seed jostling going on in Week 14, but Robbie Bowl XII will be claimed by Jacob, Sean, Schweg or Erik. Jacob and Sean will be looking for their 2nd championship, while Erik will be trying to be the 2nd owner to win 3 Robbie Bowls and win back-to-back Robbie Bowls. Schweg will try to join the winner’s club by claiming his first Robbie Bowl.
The current standings now have Jacob as our #1 seed. Jacob becomes the 2nd owner to reach an 11-2 record. Only his brother did that before, and Aaron did it twice in back-to-back years. Aaron started 11-2 in 2012 before finishing 11-3 and losing in the semifinal to Jacob, and of course we remember the legendary 14-game winning streak that Aaron posted in 2013 saw his team start 11-2 and finish with the best regular season record ever at 12-2. Jacob becomes the 4th team in league history to win at least 11 games in the regular season. The other 3 teams to do it were Sean in 2011 (11-3, lost Robbie Bowl I), Aaron in 2012 (11-3, finished 3rd) and Aaron in 2013 (12-2, won Robbie Bowl III). Jacob wins his 3rd division title, and has now qualified for the playoffs a league-record 8 times. Despite all of his success, Jacob still has a negative point differential. He’s had 14,032 points scored against him and has scored 14,015 points.
Sean has officially clinched the Schwegtopia division despite losing this week to a sad, sickly snake team. Sean could get the #1 seed back if he wins and Jacob loses in Week 14. This is Sean’s 4th division championship, which is tied for Aaron for the most in league history. This is Sean’s 5th playoff appearance, and 3rd consecutive time making the playoffs.
Erik has also made the playoffs in 3 consecutive years, and for the 4th time overall.
This is Schweg’s 3rd playoff appearance. The previous two were in 2016 and 2017 when he lost back-to-back Robbie Bowls.
That means our wildcard teams are locked in as the Schwegler brothers. Schweg defeated Erik this past week to overtake him and is currently our #3 seed by way of a strength of victory tiebreaker. If Schweg loses in Week 14 and Erik wins, Erik can jump back ahead of him. But either way, the Schweglers will NOT be playing each other in the playoffs which means the possibility of a 2nd Schwegler Bowl is alive and well.
Jacob and Sean could also meet in the Robbie Bowl which would be a rematch of Robbie Bowl II.
Sean still leads the league in scoring with 1,361 points, but we have a new 2nd place scorer now that Schweg has passed Erik and sits just 25 points behind Sean going into the final week. Sean would need to score 185 points to crack the top 3 teams in season scoring, but he only needs 71 points to finish in the prestigious top 10 for most points in a season.
Chase has struggled to score points this season and sits with just 978. He will need to score 123 points to avoid finishing in the bottom 3 for season scoring. To make things worse, Chase has had the most points scored against him. Jarrett passed Jake in scoring this past week, so we have a new 2nd place team for fewest points.
Schweg’s 58 point victory over Terrance was the 3rd largest margin of victory this season.
Sean, our league’s highest scorer, earns bottom bitch privileges for Week 13. Another $5 will be contributed to the 3rd place award.
Schweg is now tied with Erik for 2nd-most career games with at least 100 points with 72. Terrance extends his league record to 76. Jacob has now passed Jake to move into 5th place for 100+ point games with 61.
There have been 7 instances where a team only scored 100+ points once throughout an entire season. Jake and Chase could both join that group if they fail to hit 100 points in Week 14.
Jake has failed to score over 100 points in 12 consecutive games, which is tied for the 3rd longest streak ever, and it is tied for the longest streak in a single season.
Jacob has now won 7 consecutive games, which is tied for the 4th longest winning streak in league history.
Jacob becomes the 4th team in league history to finish with at least 7 division wins in a single season. A win in Week 14 would make him the first team to go 8-0 against his division in a single season. Jacob is already the only owner to finish 6-0 against his nondivisional opponents back in 2019. Both of the Schweglers finish with a 5-1 record against their non-division opponents.
Schweg has finally brought his career record back to .500 with an 89-89-1 record. We now have 7 teams in our league with a career record of at least .500 or better. Only Erik, Chase & Jarrett remain under .500. (This doesn’t include past owners like Nathan, Dobber, Steve and Jared who were all sub .500)
Terrance has now scored at least 90 points in 7 consecutive games including five 100+ point games after failing to score 90 points in the first 6 weeks of the season.
After sitting in last place for the entire season, Jarrett has an opportunity to avoid earning his 3rd toilet trophy in Week 14. If Jarrett beats Terrance AND Aaron beats Chase, then Jarrett will pass Chase to move into 9th place, giving Chase his 2nd career toilet trophy.
5th Place will come down to Ryan and Aaron. A win from Ryan OR a loss from Aaron would seal 5th place for the commissioner, who would be finishing in 5th for the 3rd straight season. But if Ryan loses and Aaron wins, Aaron will have the first pick in the draft pick draft.
Jake the Snake is locked in at 7th place this season, and Terrance is locked in at 8th place.
In the same week, we saw Erik eclipse 16,000 career points (most in the league), Jake eclipse 15,000 career points (6th most), and Jacob eclipse 14,000 career points (9th most).
Jacob passes Ryan and Chase to move into 2nd place for highest average points per game from the QB position. Chase passes Ryan to move into 3rd place. Jake passes Aaron to move into 7th place.
Schweg passes Jacob to move into 6th place for highest average points per game from the WR position. Ryan passes Chase to move out of last place and into 9th place.
Erik passes Chase to move into 7th place for highest average points per game from the D/ST position.
Ryan’s record of consecutive seasons without a losing record is on the line in Week 14. He has finished all 11 regular seasons of the TPDFFL with a record of 7-7 or 8-6. The next best record is 5 consecutive seasons, which was done by Terrance (2012-2016) and Schweg (2014-2018).
Erik has now had a winning season in 4 consecutive years, which is the 2nd longest streak in league history.
Chase had now had a losing season in 4 consecutive years, which is the 2nd longest streak in league history.
Jake wins his 5th consecutive game against Sean to improve his series lead to 13-4. The 76.5% winning pct makes this the 2nd most lopsided rivalry in league history, 2nd to only Terrance’s 16-4 record against Jarrett.
The Cleveland D/ST scored 32 points in Week 13, which is tied for the 5th most points ever scored in a game by a D/ST.
Nobody is better than Terrance is in December. His 22-12 record in December is good for a winning pct of 64.7%. The next closest is Jacob in September with a winning pct of 63.2%.
Ryan needs Travis Kelce to score 20 points to finish with the greatest TE season in league history. The current record is held by Jake who averaged 13.5 points per TE start during the 2013 season which included 13 starts from Jimmy Graham in his prime plus Charles Clay on the bye week. Ryan is currently averaging 13.08 points per TE start while the next closest this season is Sean who is averaging 7.85 points per TE start. That is currently the largest positional gap from 1st to 2nd across all positions in league history. I don’t like to give away awards for the end of the season, but this one is too obvious. Sean would need Mark Andrews to score 69 points this week and have Kelce put up 0 in order to pass Ryan at the TE position. Ryan needs just 4 points from Kelce to finish with the 2nd best TE season in history.

Week 14 Preview
Sean (10-3) vs Schweg (9-4)
Sean leads the series 12-8 and has won 5 consecutive games against Schweg. These two teams could very well end up playing each other again in next week’s semifinals, which would be their first postseason matchup.
Game Rating: 19
Jacob (11-2) vs Jake (5-8)
Jacob leads the series 12-7 and is the best owner in the league against Jake. No one has a better winning pct vs Jake than Jacob’s 63.2%. Jacob defeated Jake to win Robbie Bowl V.
Game Rating: 16
Erik (9-4) vs Ryan (6-7)
Ryan leads the series 16-8 but has lost 4 consecutive games against Erik. The 16 wins are tied for the 2nd most that any owner has over another. Erik won the only playoff meeting between these two teams by a score of 132-73 in the 2017 Semifinals.
Game Rating: 15
Aaron (6-7) vs Chase (3-10)
Aaron leads the series 8-6 including a win back in Robbie Bowl III. Aaron won the first 5 matchups against Chase, but since then Chase has rallied and gone 6-3 in the last 9 games.
Game Rating: 9
Terrance (4-9) vs Jarrett (2-11)
This is the most lopsided rivalry in the entire league, which is 16-4 in favor of Terrance. Terrance has won 8 consecutive games against Jarrett which is the longest active streak of the sort, and the 4th longest streak in league history. Another win for Terrance would tie the 3rd longest streak.
Game Rating: 6
